Above are puppy photos of Ari.  He has always been a happy, confident boy.  Click here to see photos as he grew from birth.

Loksteinn Ari was the first born in Anaegja and Tenzing’s litter of five beautiful puppies.  Ari is a black, white and gold sable.  He was the lone male with four sisters, Lokasteinn Edda, Lokasteinn Lokkadis, Lokasteinn Brenna, and Lokasteinn Kiska II.  Ari is now living in Ohio with his loving, active family.  Ari enjoys hikes with his humans and has his own backpack to carry his food and water.  He will now be the newest member of their camping family.  Ari did his first Therapy Visit already and was very gentle and affectionate with the elderly residents.  Since he is such a well mannered boy, he is allowed to accompany this family to family activities, restaurants, sporting events, and shopping.

Below are more photos of Ari enjoying his active life with his forever family who thinks he is one very special boy.

Subject: Ari the therapist

We had a BBQ today for new colleagues and we had several children over here including a 9 year old and two 3 year olds that were terrified of dogs. The 9 year old in fact was attacked by two dogs in the past that left two nasty scars on his face. So we did our usual routine with Ari and showed them some of his tricks and how patient and gentle he can be etc and they all watched him intently but still from a distance. We decided to move on and just make sure they weren't scared. Next thing we know the 9 year old is playing fetch and petting Ari shortly followed by his brother and the other 3 year old.  Then they're all playing in the yard together and now want their own dog.  Even as they were leaving they were all asking if they could take him home.

Talk about a breakthrough therapy dog. Ari literally changed those kids lives today, especially that nine year old.
