It’s always fun to go back and look at the puppy photos as they develop. Sometimes the puppy photos look quite different than the adult photos. Vaskur and Visa have both stayed pretty true to their puppy photos. Those two little fur balls have both grown up to be wonderful examples of the Icelandic Sheepdog breed, showing good structure, health, and temperament If you would like to see more photos of Vaskur and Visa, click on their photos above.
Vaskur has done a great deal of training with Mary Claire in obedience and rally. He has been a wonderful younger brother for Cassie, an older black cocker spaniel who wasn’t too sure about adding a wild young puppy to the household. They have become the best of friends! Vaskur is a beautiful black and white tri-color male with good structure and a wonderful temperaments.
Visa is probably the most loving, intellegent and beautiful Icelandic Sheepdog I have ever known. She is extremely intelligent and picks up the training very quickly. She has titled in Rally and Agility, earned her Canine Good Citizenship Certification, and her Therapy Dog Certification. She has the whole package; brains and beauty. During the AISC match, Visa was chosen Best Bitch, Best of Opposite Sex, and Best Bred By by the AKC judge. Visa is the joy of Russ’ life. She is on Russ’ lap watching TV; on his feet when he’s working on the computer, and snuggled up beside him when he goes to bed.
