Keeping an eye on things in the barn

These are wonderful hip scores. Rebbi is in the 90th percentile which means that he is in top 10% for the tightest hips of all Icelandic Sheepdogs. If you check his pedigree, you will see that his parents and grandparents also have great hip scores. Rebbi is a rare find and we are proud to have him sire Kiska’s next litter.

Kiska is a beautiful example of the Icelandic Sheepdog that we want to preserve. She has a wonderful temperament, is smart, extremely athletic and a fantastic mother. This will be her second litter of puppies.

We have had our eye on Rebbi since he was born almost three years ago. He comes from a family with excellent hip scores. We had an opportunity to spend some time with Rebbi and fell in love with his personality. He played great with all three girls and was a joy to have around the home.

We expect this litter of puppies to have short to medium hair length. This breeding could produce almost any coat color. We know that Kiska carries the gene for Black and White Tri Color and we believe Rebbi also carries this gene, so we may have Tri colored as well as sable puppies. The fun is waiting to see what Mother Nature has in store for us.
